Jules Van Dusen brings an impressive array of skills and experience to her residential real estate career. Jules draws on her strong background in management, training, and teaching in the service industry to successfully serve her real estate clients. “Listening is one of the critical skills for a real estate agent and I listen closely to what my clients need,” she says. “People want to know that that they are seen and heard. I care about what my clients are telling me and work hard to see that their goals are met.”
Jules is fluent in conversational Spanish, a major advantage in an international city such as Houston. A firm believer in hard work, she gives every transaction her all and is loyal, honest, and values integrity above all else.
In 2014, Jules and her husband were transferred to London as Chevron employees for three years, an experience she credits with widening her horizons. “It was a big part of my growth,” she says. “Truly understanding diversity and learning to accept and appreciate people’s differences was amazing.”
Inside the Loop neighborhoods and EADO, along with neighborhoods in the Heights, Memorial Park/Rice Military, Bellaire, Uptown/Galleria, and Spring Branch are areas where Jules focuses her business. She is particularly knowledgeable in sales of newly constructed homes having been through the process personally three times.
A native of Tampa, Florida, Jules earned a degree in business management from University of South Florida. She also holds a master’s degree in human resource development from University of Houston. Her community volunteer commitments include holding weekly and monthly events and outreach for Elevation Church and supporting volunteer activities throughout the year.
Jules and her husband are dedicated travelers who have visited more than 40 countries. When not working, Jules may be found “on the water – paddle-boarding or anything with boats.” She also loves working out with weights, yoga, and running or walking.
